Breakfast and lunch on Elm Street
Where Newport comes for breakfast.
Big plates, fresh-brewed coffee and a booth by the window. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A hot plate and a warm welcome.
Newport Diner is a roadside spot on Elm Street where the coffee is fresh, the plates are generous and there is usually a teal booth open by the window. Locals fill the tables early. Travelers driving between Bar Harbor and Portland pull off for a hot breakfast on the way.
The room is all warm wood and old-fashioned comfort. Come as you are, order big, and take your time with the coffee.

Got brunch here on the way back to Portland from Bar Harbor. Best food I had the whole trip.
I had the scallop basket and my husband had the clam basket. We both said this is the best seafood we have had in years.
Great little diner with great food and service! Had the Newport Smokeshow Omelet. It was a tasty combination of flavors!
Brayden was our waitress and was absolutely incredible and the food came out promptly. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.
